Caroline Root joins Sgoil Gàidhlig Bhaile an Taigh Mhóir Faculty

We’re excited to announce that the highly respected Gàidhlig teacher and creator of the Daily Gaelic (Gàidhlig Gach Latha) learning program, Caroline Root, has joined our faculty for the 2024-2025 academic year. 

Caroline is a passionate Gaelic language supporter, and we give her a hearty welcome to the faculty. Caroline has a B.A. with first class honors in Celtic studies, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Gaelic medium) and more than 15 years teaching experience. She spent two years working in the Gaelic Medium Education System in Scotland and was trained by them as a school teacher. 

Sgoil Gàidhlig Bhaile an Taigh Mhóir teaches all of it’s classes online via Zoom and holds a variety of in-person activtities through the year.
